Become a Partner
Codex Vitae partners with organizations and professionals who believe that digital memory deserves thoughtful stewardship.
If your work touches life planning, digital preservation, cultural memory, or secure technology infrastructure, we welcome the opportunity to explore collaboration.
Codex Vitae has two partner programs. They are different in structure, in value, and in legal requirements. Read both before applying.
Attorney Partner Program
Who it is for: Licensed estate planning attorneys in US states covered by the platform's RUFADAA directive service.
Why it matters: Attorney partners are the only professionals who can execute a client's Codex Vitae directives after death. The platform will not act on a single directive without a licensed attorney's authorization. This is an architectural requirement, not a policy. Your legal authority is what makes the system work.
What the program includes:
- ◆Priority listing in the partner directory, matched only to clients in your licensed states
- ◆Complimentary access to the partner portal and all platform features for professional and personal use
- ◆Co-branded digital estate planning resources, RUFADAA client guides, and educational materials
- ◆Training on digital estate law and how the platform integrates with your practice
- ◆No referral fees are paid in this program. This structure is required by ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct. The value is in client service and practice development.
What is required: Active bar license in one or more US states where the platform offers RUFADAA directives. Completion of the platform's attorney onboarding and training. Agreement to serve as the designated digital executor for clients who engage you through the platform.
Referral Partner Program
Who it is for: Funeral homes, hospice organizations, grief counselors, financial advisors, senior living facilities, and other non-attorney organizations that serve families during life transitions and end-of-life care.
Why it matters: You are often the first person a family turns to after a loss. The Codex Vitae Bereavement Processing Service and the platform itself address needs that arise at exactly the moment you serve families.
What the program includes:
- ◆A referral fee for each family you introduce to the platform or bereavement processing service
- ◆The fee is disclosed in writing to the family at intake
- ◆No technical integration required
- ◆Simple, transparent, and meaningful
What is required: A genuine relationship with the families you serve. Agreement to disclose the referral arrangement to families as required.
