And non-attorney organizations including funeral homes, hospice providers, and financial advisors who connect families with the platform at the moment they most need it. Both are essential. Attorney Partners: Co-Marketing Program
Estate planning attorneys partner with Codex Vitae as a co-marketing relationship, not a referral fee arrangement. This structure is required by ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct, which prohibit attorneys from receiving payment for recommending clients to a third party. The Codex Vitae attorney partner program is designed in full compliance with these rules.
Attorney partners are the only professionals who can execute a client's digital directives after death. The platform will not act on a single directive without a licensed attorney's authorization. This is not a policy preference. It is built into the platform's architecture.
What attorney partners receive:

Non-Attorney Partners: Referral Program
Funeral homes, hospice organizations, grief counselors, financial advisors, and senior living facilities may participate in a referral fee program. Each family introduced to the Codex Vitae platform or bereavement processing service generates a referral fee for the introducing partner, disclosed in writing to the family at intake.
No technical integration is required. The arrangement is simple, transparent, and meaningful. You connect a family with something that will matter to them for the rest of their lives.
