Invest in the Future of Digital Legacy

Every life generates a digital footprint. Photos, messages, creative work, documents, and personal archives that represent who someone is. Yet there is no infrastructure designed to help people organize, protect, and preserve these materials for the future.

Codex Vitae is building that infrastructure.

The Opportunity

Our digital lives are scattered across phones, cloud accounts, email inboxes, and social platforms. Families and professionals face a discovery burden during life events, illness, and loss. Important memories are buried in clutter. Critical documents are inaccessible. Personal archives have no structure, no organization, and no plan for the future.

Storage is abundant, but findability and story are not. The platforms people rely on today were designed for consumption, not preservation. None were built to handle the question of what happens to a digital life over time.

Codex Vitae addresses this gap with secure, encrypted digital vaults, AI-assisted organization, and tools that help individuals structure their digital archives so the people who matter most can find what they need, when they need it.

Why Now

Digital Footprints Are Massive

The average household holds hundreds of gigabytes across devices and cloud accounts. For most people under 50, their digital footprint is larger than their physical estate.

Storage Is Solved. Organization Is Not.

Cloud storage is cheap and abundant, but it does not solve findability, structure, or story. People need a way to surface what matters from the noise.

Legal Frameworks Are Maturing

Laws like the Revised Uniform Fiduciary Access to Digital Assets Act (RUFADAA) give professionals clearer frameworks to act on digital estates when instructions exist.

AI Makes Organization Practical

Applied carefully, AI can turn disorganized digital archives into structured, searchable libraries. De-duplication, clustering, and intelligent sorting save families hours of effort.

What We Build

Codex Vitae preserves a person's important digital memories and life documentation in one secure, private place. Families and trusted professionals can find what they need, when they need it, securely, with permission, and with a clear record of access.

Encrypted Digital Vaults

Private, secure storage for photos, videos, documents, messages, and other personal digital materials. Zero-knowledge encryption principles ensure that vault contents remain private.

AI-Assisted Organization

Intelligent de-duplication, content clustering by time, people, and source, and automated quality scoring that surfaces meaningful materials from large archives.

Memorial and Life-Story Tools

Collections, notes, and narrative tools that help individuals organize their digital archives into structured stories and curated memories.

Directive System

Tools that allow individuals to create instructions for how their digital materials should be handled, shared, or protected in the future.

Professional Partner Tools

Dashboards and workflows designed for estate planning attorneys, fiduciaries, and end-of-life service providers who need organized, consent-ready client documentation.

Business Model

Codex Vitae operates a blended B2C and B2B model designed for sustainable growth and strong unit economics.

Consumer (B2C)

  • Tiered vault plans with generous storage and AI-assisted features
  • Free tier for onboarding, with paid upgrades for expanded capacity
  • Family vault sharing for multi-generational preservation
  • Growth through organic family invitations and memorial sharing

Professional Partners (B2B)

  • SaaS subscriptions for law firms and estate planning professionals
  • Partner dashboards with organized intake and compliance documentation
  • Consented, jurisdiction-matched client introductions
  • Educational content and CLE-compatible training materials

Storage costs are managed through de-duplication and lifecycle policies. AI processing is capped per vault to maintain predictable cost structures. Gross margins are protected by design.

Market Landscape

The digital legacy market sits at the intersection of several large, established sectors that are converging around a shared need: what happens to digital lives over time.

  • Consumer cloud storage and personal archive management
  • Estate planning and legal technology services
  • End-of-life and bereavement services
  • Institutional archives, records management, and cultural preservation
  • Privacy and identity management infrastructure

Existing solutions address fragments of this need. Cloud storage solves file management but not findability. Password managers protect credentials but not memories. Estate planning tools handle legal documents but not personal digital archives.

Codex Vitae combines secure storage, intelligent organization, directive tools, and professional workflows into a single integrated platform designed specifically for digital legacy.

Proprietary Technology

The Codex Vitae platform is powered by proprietary systems designed for the unique requirements of digital legacy preservation.

SortiumOrana™

AI-driven content filtering, classification, and organization system. Manages all uploads with automated de-duplication, quality scoring, content safety screening, and intelligent clustering.

CodexGraph™

Relationship and timeline modeling engine. Structures events, relationships, and places across a person’s files, turning raw content into a navigable memory map.

CodexNarrum™

Life-story narrative modeling system. Generates artifact-linked stories and recipient-safe memorials from organized archives.

DirectiveOS™

Directive management and execution framework. Enables structured instructions for digital legacy handling with role-based access, consent controls, and audit trails.

Certain platform features may be subject to provisional patent filings.

Who We Serve

Codex Vitae serves both consumers and the professionals who support them through life transitions.

Individuals and Families

People who want to organize photos, messages, documents, and creative work into a structured archive that can be preserved, shared, or protected on their terms.

Estate Planning Attorneys

Law firms that need clients to arrive organized and consent-ready. Codex Vitae provides structured intake, audit trails, and compliant workflows that reduce friction and improve client outcomes.

End-of-Life Service Providers

Hospice organizations, funeral homes, and bereavement professionals who support families during the most difficult transitions and need modern tools for digital-era needs.

Institutions

Universities, libraries, museums, and cultural organizations exploring how personal digital archives can be preserved for historical and scholarly purposes.

Competitive Position

The digital legacy space is fragmented. Existing tools address pieces of the problem, but none provide an integrated solution.

  • Cloud storage platforms provide file storage but lack organization, findability, and legacy planning tools
  • Password managers protect credentials but do not preserve personal memories or creative work
  • Estate planning software handles legal documents but does not address personal digital archives
  • Point solutions offer single features but lack the integrated workflows that families and professionals need

Codex Vitae is the only platform that combines encrypted vault storage, AI-assisted organization, directive management, and professional partner tools into a single, privacy-first digital legacy infrastructure.

Security and Privacy

Trust is the foundation of a digital legacy platform. Codex Vitae is designed with privacy and security as core architectural principles, not optional features.

  • Zero-knowledge encryption architecture designed so that only authorized users can access vault contents
  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest across all platform systems
  • Role-based access controls and audit trails for every interaction
  • Automated content safety systems for legal compliance
  • No sale of user data. No advertising. No data mining of vault contents.
  • AI systems do not train on private vault content

The Vision

Digital life is not temporary. The photos, messages, creative works, and personal archives that people create over a lifetime represent something permanent and deeply meaningful.

Yet there is no infrastructure designed to ensure these materials survive, stay organized, and reach the people they were meant for. Cloud storage was built for convenience. Social platforms were built for engagement. Neither was built for preservation.

Codex Vitae is building the infrastructure layer that sits between a digital life and its future. A platform where individuals can organize what matters, protect what is private, and ensure that their stories and memories are preserved with the dignity they deserve.

"To ensure that every life is preserved with dignity, remembered with clarity, and transitioned with compassion."
